Description
court cupboard, comprising earlier elements, overall carved decoration, the upper section with two frieze drawers and central cupboard, flanked by turned columns, the lower section with bulbous supports, undertier on block feet.
Cupboard of oak in the Stuart style with shallow carving to front surfaces, a central canted cupboard, cluster columns and an open shelf. Above the cupboard are two narrow drawers and beneath it one wide but shallow drawers occupying the full width of the piece. Embellishments include carved thistles and scrolled foliage, applied paterae and carved baluster supports.
