Description
bowl, slop, exterior decorated with various scenes, with pagodas on islands, trees and fishing boats. Gilding around base and top. Interior has blue border decoration with gilded to top and bottom of the band-bottom gilded more decorative. Inside base of bowl small blue decorative design possibly rock in water. It is 18th century Chinese hard paste porcelain but with gilded decoration applied later in England circa 1780. It features the mark of the English gilder on the underside base rim.
