Description
sauce boat, moulded with sprays of flowers and leaves and hand-painted after a Worcester pattern known as harvest Bug or Astley, directly copying a Chinese famille rose original, with a peony and branch design including a fanciful insect. A simple red loop border and floral motif to the interior. two small white flowers are hand-painted under the spout, Sauce boat, plain rim, the sides moulded with sprays of flowers and leaves: painted on each side in Chinese style with a large pink peony and other coloured flowers, large black beetle with gilt spots and a flying insect in rouge-de-fer: under the spout two small white flowers
