Description
figure group dancer, male, wearing traditional [Turkish] costume, his right hand, holding a bunch of grapes, is raised to his head and his left hand is on his hip. He wears a fez-like headdress, a loose white tunic open at the front to reveal a yellow shirt, a knee-length skirt over breeches and stockings. Enamelled with pink, orange, yellow, blue and brown. figures such as these are generally assumed to be circus or fairground entertainers.
