longcase clock, eight day, graduated caddy top flanked by two gilt spheres, fretwork sides, the hood door flanked by gilt capped columns, the brass and silvered dial with Roman / Arabic chapter ring, signed Hindley, York, gilt scrolled spandrels, date aperture, subsidiary seconds dial (inoperative), strike on bell, the trunk door with glass lentil, on tall plinth base
