Description
figure of a sow or boar with its snout to the ground and standing four square. Modelled in the round, the back of the animal has had black enamel applied with either a sponge or by blowing the colour on. Red, brown and yellow enamels have also been used. The base is formed by a raised mound moulded and painted to resemble the ground. Shallow concave underside with small pierced hole.
