Description
figure of sailor leaning on bollard. figure of a sailor with his right arm leaning on abollard, around which a mooring rope is coiled, and his left hand tucked in his waistcoat. He wears a black, bried hat, striped waistcoat, black cravat, and blue jacket, yellow cuerbund. Staffordshire figure with a maritime theme which features a sailor, stood on an oblong base. Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round'-decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.
