Description
tea pot stand, oval, probably for a basket, with handpierced rim. The centre of the stand has a spray of roses and leaves painted in sepia tones on an oval white ground; around this is a double band of gilded, a 15 band of orange / red with a gilded leaf-form border and a denticulated edge. The surrounding white area features swags of roses and leaves painted in sepia tones, another denticulated border and leaf-form border. The pierced section is simply gilded.
