Description
.1 larger basket central panel has half chrysanthemum, pair of circular baskets with flared sides composed of interlocked circles; at each intersection is an applied floret enamelled in green and yellow. The base and sides of the baskets are painted with similair sprays of flowers in polychrome enamels on a white ground; the flowers include roses, tulips and chrysanthemums and the technique is evident of the Meissen influence. The scribed marks of the compass can be seen on the exterior of the baskets although this is by no means peculiar to the factory. The glaze has been wiped from the foot rim.
