Description
chair, pair, tall elaborately carved backs with acanthus scrolls flanked by tapering columns, the caned seat above square tapering legs joined by a curved X stretcher on bun feet. High-backed carved oak and walnut with cane seats, pierced back and crest rail, ornate cup and scroll legs to front, joined by 'X' shaped stretchers surmounted by a central finial, bun feet. In the style of Huguenot Daniel Marot. (Charles II)
