Description
wardrobe, breakfront, moulded cornice above a central mirrored door, enclosing a fitted interior, flanked by leaf capped pilasters and moulded panelled doors, also enclosing fitted interiors on a plinth base. Wardrobe constructed in five sections (three main sections to the body and the top and bottom) with full-length mirror in the centre door.
Showing revival qualities, the wardrobe is veneered in satinwood or possibly satin birch in imitation of the former. Centre section has four adjustable trays and four drawers with square bail handles; each end section has seven hooks, a hanging rail and a single drawer. Four columns across the front each with a lotus or papyrus leaf top and fine incised decoration.
