broken pediment Banjo shaped barometer with scrolled, open pediment at the top. Dry / Damp gauge at top, thermometer, convex mirror, barometric gauge and spirit level at the bottom.
Mahogany veneered on to pine; satinwood stringing, brass embellishments.] A Late Mahogany Wheel this barometer is of typical banjo shape in addition to the main dial there is a hygrometer used to measure atmospheric humidity and a spirit level to enable more accurate readings.
