Description
tea service consisting of twenty seven (27) pieces, tea cup with vertical sides gradually rounding and tapering in at the foot; simple loop handle. Commencing about 5 mm from the top of the cup is a deep, scalloped turquoise border edged with gold and tried at the bottom with swags comprising of graduated dots and pendants. Intermittant gold paterae from which are suspended swags of roses painted on the turquoise ground. The bottom half of the cup and the handle are white with the points of application of the latter painted with black and gold straps or bands. Rim decorated with a gold band, the interior of the rim having a dentil or dontil band. Gold band at foot rim.
