Description
figure, from a pair, girl with basket and grapes as Autumn. Circular base.
Original modelled by Pierre Stephan and copied by William Coffee. Stephan was a prolific modeller, mould-maker and repairer, who may have worked at the Tournai factory. He signed an agreement with William Duesbury of the Derby porcelain factory to commence work on 17 September 1770, later working at Wirksworth and for Josiah Wedgwood in London.
