Description
cooking stove, free-standing gas. Cast-iron frame is raised on four slightly 's' shaped iron legs. Cream enamel panel sides and door. Interior of oven and door panel enamel. Outside edge of door frame and edge frame of top surface of stove is chromed iron. Gas jet taps of chromed brass. Four single burners with grilling rack below. Removable enamelled shelf below burners. Double hinged door has handle. Nine tiered shelf brackets within oven; two wire and one sheet iron shelf. Oven temperature control on outside top of oven attached to gas pipe with brass tap for gas flow control. Stamped brass plate attached to oven frame details cooking temperatures for various foodstuffs. Inscription to front of oven door: THE FRONT LINE

INTERIOR: iron, 4 runners, 2 removable wire shelves, 1 removable sheet metal shelf. Base pierced holes along each edge. Long rectangular, gas burner loose at back. Door mottled black enamel. SIDES: under hob, side panels moulded. A brass disc attached to left. RIGHT: at left silver metal pipe runs from controls at top to base of oven. Upper left, pipe runs length of unit to connect to power supply. LEFT: lower right, silver metal, circular stopper. BACK: top centre, circular flue hole. Central panel with vertical decoration.
