Description
carved stand on which a crouched Blackamoor supports a shell-shaped bowl on her shoulder. The whole is carved from pine in a trompe l'oeil fashion to simulate draped fabric. The figure sits upon acircular tablet which separates from the pedestal base. She wears bracelets, armlets, a necklet, is swathed in a richly decorated material and wears curled slippers and ankle bracelets.
