Description
tea caddy, Boulle style, sacophagus shape, inside are two sections for tea with a bowl for mixing teas in the centre. Tea casket filled with two zinc canisters for storing tea under lock and key. Marquetry design features curling tendrils, scrolling foilage, two peacocks framed by an undulating band. The casket is supported by reversed scroll feet.
