Description
figure of Neptune standing atop a rococo base encrusted with coral, shells, seaweed, etc., a brass trident in his left hand. Behind him at his feet lies a dolphin, water gushing from it's mouth. Neptune's right hand clutches at flowing robes and he wears a gold eight pointed crown. Pearlware figure with a mythological theme which features Neptune, holding a trident (lost) with a dolphin and seashells and seaweed applied to the base, stood on a rococo base. Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round'-decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.
