Description
pedestal, three-tiered with circular, detachable marble top, circular middle section and tripartite base with carved lion paw feet. Beneath the marble top is a deep recess; scrolled supports and terminals. Marble unlikely to be original. John Wilson says the stand is about 1825-it would have contained a Chinese Ceramic bowl specifically made to contain fish.
