Description
table, centre, circular top, on four tapering legs of square section, inlaid ebony and ebony stringing, Japanese lacquer plaque inset into centre top. A raised gallery forms the perimeter of the solid satinwood top. In the centre of the top a roundel of "oriental" lacquered decoration has been inset. Recessed panels around the perimeter of the table and on all faces of the legs have been painted or stained to simulate ebony. Brass screw-in feet. Red lacquer panels to top of legs.
