Description
bookshelf, three-tier with porcelain Corintian columns and architectural devices. These fragments from a monumental table decoration which replaced those dessert table decorations formerly made in sugar or wax.
William Johnston's made the columns into wall shelf supports. They were remounted on mahogany supports after 1991.
