Description
salver, circular on three feet and with reeded rim. A simple plain circular salver that has been engraved with a crest and has Indian script on reverse. Engraved central crest within a key pattern border. The shield blazoned with a lion rampant to dexter; upper left hand quarter with initials "M.M" above a shaded bar; lower left hand quarter with single initial "M the whole surmounted with a lion's head erased and with the motto "NEC tEMIRE. NEC tIMIDE" (Neither rashly nor timidly) beneath.
