Object Detail


Description
mantledrape or valance, woven fabric with sunflower design and fringe. It appears to have been cut down from a wider piece of fabric possibly from a curtain. Woven fabric of sunflower pattern in brown over a green background, with a chequered border.
Woollen twist fringe sewn to lower edge, is a khaki-shades of green, brown, yellow. all backed with a cream-coloured woven woollen fabric. Fabric design reminiscent of William Morris style.
