Description
portrait of King George IV after Sir Thomas Lawrence portrait of 1822 [Intended as a gift from Elizabeth, Duchess of Devonshire to Cardinal Consalvi in 1824. He died, then she died, and it was returned to George IV, who presented it to the 6th Duke of Devonshire.]
