Description
plate, shaped, green border is painted with pink leaves and gilded fronds and surrounds a circular white reserve painted with tulips.
from a part dessert service comprising of 21 pieces; the design of the rim is a variant of the "Staffordshire" form which was registered in 1854 and is almost identical to pattern number 4 / 2191 by Samuel Alcock and Company, the firm succeeded by Sir James Duke and Nephews.
