Description
tea bowl and saucer, small spiral fluted tea bowl decorated with alternating bands of flowers and turquoise ground with raised paste gold jewels. Each panel of decoration is bordered with a gold band and the rim and foot rimare also gilded. One unusual aspect of the teabowl is that the underside of the bowl is painted with a spray of flowers.
