Description
figure group incorporating an elephant in the act of rescuing a man from the tower of a castle-like building. two of the castellated towers form spill holders. The larger roofed tower incorporates a clock. The elephant's trunk is extended up to the tower window, the bars of which have been torn away, allowing the man to climb down on to the elephant's back. Enamelled with black, pink, green, blue, brown and gold colours. Applied shredded clay around castle and at elephant's feet.
