Description
plate, armorial (from a pair) with a colourful and distinctive border incorporating the Honywood crest at the top. To the centre are the arms of Honywood impaling Courtney, celebrating the marriage between Francis Courtney and Sir John Honywood on 13 December 1779. The plate impressed Wedgwood to reverse with letter B
